Industrial Equipment Fabrication Plant

Located in Adana, our Industrial Equipment Fabrication Plant is in operation and forms the foundation of Simgetek's production infrastructure.

 

Established in 2004 on a 15,000 m² site, over more than twenty years the facility has grown into an integrated fabrication plant covering the entire production cycle, from raw material cutting and cold forming through welded fabrication of up to 100 tons per item of equipment to surface preparation and painting.

FACILITY INFRASTRUCTURE

An Integrated
Fabrication Environment

The facility is planned so that all main production stages are carried out under one roof. Work therefore flows without interruption from cutting to shipment, under continuous quality control.

  • 15,000 m² enclosed site
    11,000 m² covered fabrication area and 4,000 m² open area
  • 3 bays; each 21 m wide and 90 m long, with a hook height of 12 m
  • 11,000 m² fabrication area plus a separate 1,000 m² blasting and painting area
  • 15 jib cranes; maximum lifting capacities 13×1 tons, 2×2 tons and 1×0.5 tons
  • 11 overhead cranes; maximum lifting capacities 1×25 tons, 5×20 tons, 2×10 tons and 2×5 tons
  • 7.5 m × 7.5 m door dimensions — seven (7) doors
  • 1 gantry crane; maximum lifting capacity 20 tons (hook height: 8 m, service area: 1,200 m²)
  • 1 monorail crane; maximum lifting capacity 5 tons

Cutting and Cold Forming Capability

The facility has a wide range of cutting and forming equipment; material preparation can be completed in-house, allowing a flexible response to changing project requirements.

 

  • Cutting: band saw, guillotine shear, plasma cutting, laser cutting and oxy-fuel cutting
  • Cold forming: weld bevelling, pipe bending, section bending, plate bending and press brake operations

Surface Preparation and Painting

Blasting and painting are carried out in a separate 1,000 m² area within the facility. Surface preparation and coating are therefore completed as an integral part of the production process rather than as an outsourced operation.

  • Equipment and pressure vessels: 2,400 – 4,000 tons/year
  • Tank pre-fabrication: 8,000 – 11,000 tons/year
  • Structural steel: 6,000 – 9,000 tons/year
  • Pipe spool fabrication: 170,000 – 225,000 WDI/year

A Proven Production Base

Since 2004, the Industrial Equipment Fabrication Plant has been the production base for a large number of industrial projects.

Together with Simgetek's other production facilities, this plant allows projects to be directed to the most suitable production environment, supporting parallel execution and reliable delivery performance.
